Description: Original WWI Rifle Sling. Leather stamped, "L-F CO 1918 P.T." stamped, other areas of the sling are stamped, "W.D.C." in two different locations. This also comes with sling swivels attached to the leather. A beautiful piece. Overall excellent condition considering age, leather is still firm yet, softly flexible, shows some age patina, handling marks, and some smooth spots, the white patina wipes off, you can see two photos where I wiped a spot off. Leather oil would make this look even more beautiful. The attachments are brass with some verdigris on it.
