Description: A superb & heavy piece of British Trench Art from the Trenches of The Western Front in the shape of a hand-fashioned Castellated Flower Vase fashioned from an Artillery 18-pdr casing. Nicely hammered & patterned from a heavy 1917-dated British 18-pdr brass casing, the front bears an unknown escutcheon in copper. Measuring some 11.5" high x 4" across its base and a offering a really wonderful brass patina, this is a cracking-looking & very chunky British souvenir of The Battles of The Western Front 1917-1918 Thanks for looking..!
