Description: This is a very amazing petrified agatized wood limb / tree branch or trunk specimen which was collected from the Green River formation from the ancient now extinct Lake Gosiute in the Eden Valley area, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. This gorgeous specimen has been cut and polished on one end and has beautiful botryoidal agate on the other end. This piece displays standing upright on the polished face (my preferred method for this specimen) or laying on its side and it measures 5 inches long by 5.59 inches wide and weighs 2 pounds 7 ounces.
