The Log-Alert WiFi water metering system connects to any pulse water meter on the market and sends the data to our free online cloud system. The purchaser receives an easy to use web dashboard where the water meter data is shown via pulse and gallons over time graphs. The meter data can be downloaded to an excel format file via electable time frames. Adjustable alerts can be sent via email and or text to the user(s) for flows that get out of range. A rechargeable candy bar size lithium battery option is available but due to the large power demands of WiFi we HIGHLY recommend the electric version unless electric power is unavailable. With a battery option you will only be able to determine a water leak once the data is uploaded to our cloud system. If the battery option is chosen the system will come programmed to be in a sleep mode (but still counting pulses) and wake up once a day (settable up to 4 day sleep) to send the data via WiFi. In a 4 day sleep mode the ultra lithium batteries typically last 2-1/2 years. To recharge simply plug in the system to an outlet. During the initial WiFi router setup (by utilizing a smartphone) there is an option which will allow the user to adjust the sleep reporting interval in seconds (how often the data is sent per day).We offer the only data logging system in the marketplace that can connect via WPS. To connect the user simply pushes the WPS button on their WiFi router and then presses the WPS button on the logger. If a WPS enabled router is not available one can also connect manually by typing in the router's WiFi network name and password via a smart phone (no app required). There is no app or program to download and no online forms to fill out.
