Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Sterling Silver sardine fork by the Whiting Mfg. Company. We were unable to identify the pattern. The fork has 5-tines with a reticulated floral design on handle. No monograms. Marked with the trademark stamp of the Whiting Mfg. Co. and "Sterling". Made by the Whiting Mfg. Co. of New York NY in business from 1866 until 1926 when the company was absorbed into Gorham. Measures 6 3/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. Weighs 22 grams. This nice fork is in very good Estate condition with the only noted flaw being a slight bend on one of the tines otherwise the fork reflects minimal signs of wear. Please view all photos.
