Despite this version of the model no longer being available to purchase from Games Workshop, Old One Eye as a character continues to have its own 10th Edition datasheet. Therefore, there is nothing stopping you from using this 20+ year old model in your current 10th Edition Hive Fleet (provided you are using the correct base size, this information should be readily available online). If you’re considering adding Old One Eye to your army, this miniature will help yours stand out from the crowd! This miniature comes fully assembled, with the beginnings of a paint job in place. The miniature is mainly comprised of metal parts, but the Scything Talons are plastic (as is standard for this particular edition of the kit). If you wanted to strip the model of the current paint job, the metal components should be easy enough to do, but you may want to consider a different approach for the plastic. With that said, the paint applied to all components is thin, so you’ll likely be fine just painting straight over it, without the need for stripping it back.Please message us should you have any questions.
