Description: This is a classic pair of early 1950's issued M-1951 'Field Shell Trousers' cargo pants, in approximately a size 34x32. These are some of the original cargo pants, issued by the military during the Korean War to combat harsh temperatures and environments while still retaining full utility. This particular pair had a printed spec label (a sign of an earlier production date) on the pocket, which is unfortunately mostly illegible. Additionally, the Prentice brand 'Pat. Pend.' zipper fly is also a very early production model, and helps nail the date of this particular pair. Although this pair was issued and has seen lots of wear, they're still in excellent, wearable condition, with all the hardware, straps, and features still present and intact. The optimum size waist for these pants is somewhere around a 32-34, although the side waist buckles can cinch further, to approximately a size 28, although that's not necessarily recommended. Please check the measurements below before purchasing. Note: The color of the photos is somewhat washed out, but the 10th photo depicts the color properly.
