Description: This is a small 1943 calendar, that was probably a give-away or "premium" from an old drug store. The top / front pictures a bird and the 12 month calendar pages are at the bottom. In small print, the front is marked: "GOSSET DRUG CO...County Line, Oklahoma." (County Line / Countyline, OK. is a tiny town of about 42 residents.) The BACK of the calendar advertises "TUMS" antacid and "N.R. - Nature's Relief Laxative." (There are also advertisements for these products between the pages of the calendar.) The entire cardboard backing measures 8 & 1/4 inches long by 3 & 3/8 inches wide. The calendar pages, measures 3 & 1/4 by 1 & 7/8 inches. The overall condition is GOOD. All 12 months are still attached, with no writing inside. The top page (January) has a paper chip and is creased on the bottom right corner. (This creased area appears almost ready to come off.) The next month (February) has a couple of insect nibbles. The other months are in nice shape. The backing card has a few silverfish nibbles - nothing serious.
