Description: Vintage Strombecker International Road Racing 1:32 Slot Car Racing Set #9935 w/Extras. I am the originalowner of this nearly 60 year old slot car set. I will describe all the contents as best as possible. First of all the boxis in great original condition. The 2 cars included are a Porsche RS61 and a Lotus MKXIX. The Porsche is more complete with both drivers and windshield. The Lotus is missing those items. Both cars were bench tested and DO NOT run. They have sat for over 50 years in non use. Both cars have repaired front body to chassis mounts. Also included is a brand new Porsche RS61 body. The set includes 4 extra straight track sections, 9 total. The set includes7 extra curved track sections, 15 total. Note: Some of the track sections are of the first generation band attachment and there are a few that need re-bonding to the track. Also included are 11 pylon supports, 6 track side figures, 1chicane track section and 10 extra fence sections, total 18. The 2 controllers are operational but show some heat distortion where we used to wrap the wires around them when we were finished racing. I remember we used to raceso long we had to wear gloves because the controllers got so hot. The power supply works. The electric starting flag-man is MISSING. Also included is a Strombecker No 9725/395 Lap Counter in great condition original box. Note: Both lane triggering wires are broken.
