Description: Here is a vintage Santo Domingo turquoise nugget necklace with shell heishi separating the stones. This necklace was bought on the reservation years ago; the sinew frayed and I have restrung it for safety, adding sterling findings. This beautiful hand made necklace measures 18 inches long. The necklace is finished with three 6mm bench beads and hook and eye closure - all findings are antique sterling. The nuggets vary in size but all are pretty close to 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch long. The peachie colored shell heishi is 6mm. The weight on this piece is 31 grams. I have 4 inch sterling extenders for sale if you would like this longer. A gift box is included with purchase.
