Description: Vintage English Carriage Clock From The Renowned London Retailer Mappin and webb. Fully overhauled November 2024. The movement ( numbered A3928 ) was completely dismantled, cleaned, and subsequently rebuilt. The mainspring was removed from barrel and cleaned prior to oiling and replacing. The fully compensated Swiss lever platform escapement was also dismantled for cleaning, etc. The brass case has been given a light polish and coat of wax to help retard future tarnishing. Brass case and bevelled glass in excellent condition. Timepiece measures 150 mm tall with handle upright, 80 mm wide and 60 mm deep. Timepiece will be supplied with double ended key for winding and adjustment of hands. Postage will be via Royal Mail special delivery. Please check my feedback as a seller.
