A magnet does not stick to it, except for the base which is probably because it has metal in it to weigh it down. The shade has “Rembrandt” stamped on the ring the finial goes through. There is a stain on the inside that I have pictured. If you want the lamp and not the shade, let me know and I will recalculate the shipping and adjust the invoice. This has a 3 way switch.
