I have left it exactly as I found it and have not tested it. There is no other damage of any kind. The original box is missing 1 end flap and the owner's name is written in pencil on the box - he was an executive who worked for National Panasonic USA and this was a sample provided to him as a courtesy from one of his fellow electronics salesmen.
