Description: This iconic boxing scene portrays Ali's 1st Round K.O. of Sonny Liston in their 2nd fight at Lewiston, Maine in 1965. The boxing tableau is rendered in cold cast porcelain and is a limited edition of which this is #0654 from a world-wide release of 7,500 over 30 years ago. The tableau is comprised of 4 components: the Ali statue approximately 11" in height; the Sonny Liston prone figure approximately 11" in length; the porcelain boxing canvas with 2 precut circles for statues (11 1/2 "W x 9" Ht.) to be inserted into a wood base housing of approximately 1 1/4" in height and 13" x 11". All edition numbers are engraved on the plate as well as the issue size. Additionally, the number will appear on the base of the Ali statue. This is certainly one of Endurance Ltd.'s most successful and popular editions and is a part of the early production runs produced in the '90's. Condition: Only insufficiency is that the name plate is askew (remedied by reattaching). Comes in its original packaging as received from the manufacturer.Shipped via UPS Ground.
