Description: Vintage original Albert P. Dumenigo aka "Smokey" (American, 1924-1989) reverse glass oil painting, signed lower left. Painting is on old wavy glass. In vintage solid wood frame. Frame is 10 3/4" by 8 1/2" and 3/4" depth. Frame has knicks and dings. No chips or cracks in glass. Please see pictures for details and condition. I could not find much information about Albert P. Dumenigo but this is what I did find. He was born in New York in 1924 and he served in the United States Airforce in WWII. He was a SSGT ball-turret gunner in the 368th crew. He was awarded the Air Medal Oak Leaf Cluster in 1944. I found a few other paintings by him and he was an active artist in Florida at some time. He died in Arizona in 1989.
