Description: this is a very nice vintage realistic style oil painting which depicts a log cabin located in the middle of some New England woods - in the foreground, we see a crude set of fencing beams piled up on each other at the corners using the weight of the logs to hold the corner sections together - the log structure of the cabin itself was painted in muted beige & brown colors on the far end facing the viewer which contrasts nicely with the muted gray of the chimney stones on that end of the cabin - behind the cabin is a lovely small mountain in full summer glory with its many shades of green colors depicting the varieties of foliage - this vintage (1950's -1960's?) painting has been professionally cleaned & restored in the recent past in order to bring out the glorious colors that the artist intended when he originally painted this wonderful rustic picture - this painting belongs in a cabin or cottage set in a similar natural & rustic location where the natural wilderness is the main environment - the painting measures 12" x 16" sight size & is in very good vintage condition - it is enhanced by its original gilded wooden frame which is also in very good vintage condition -
