Description: Beautiful vintage Chinese Export Cantonese plate. Intricate and ornate famille rose decoration with birds, butterflies and an abundance of flowers. Vibrant colours with guilding and unusual hexagonal shape. Probably dates from the early to mid 20th century? 'Made in China' printed on the back. Dimensions: 23cm wide. Good condition. No chips or cracks. Decoration is a little faded on the edges and there is a tiny lump of clay that has been fired onto the surface of the plate (3rd photo, right hand side).
