It appears to have previously opened, but it could be glued shut or have another issue. It can certainly be displayed as is as part of a collection. Perhaps it can be repaired, but I'll leave that up to the new owner of this adorable Limoges trinket box. The box depicts an upholstered arm chair done in a rose and vine pattern in colors of ivory, green and pink. It measures: 2" tall and 1.5" in diameter at the base. The metal rim on the lower part of the box is an antique brass color - not a gold brass color. All appropriate Limoges hallmarks are painted on the underside of the box.
