Description: 💫 The classic. LE Smith amber Moon and Stars 7" lidded pedestal candy compote dish. The Moon and Stars pattern is the vintage collector's gateway drug into vintage colored glass and for good reason!LE Smith Glass Co. was founded in 1907 in Jeannette, PA, and, as if their popularity in glassware wasn't interesting enough, are known for producing the first anti-glare headlight for the Model T Ford. After nearly one hundred years of glass-making, they ultimately closed in 2004.This little dish has some chipping on a handful of points at the base of the lid. Please see the photos. This chip placement seems to be the downfall of many LE Smith lidded dishes! Other than the chips shown, the piece is in excellent condition. The base is perfect!MEASUREMENTS:Just shy of 7" tall, from base to lid handle4.5" at the widest pointHolds one cup of M&Ms 😇👋🏻 I do not accept returns!
