Description: Larger than most mid century Spanish red ware pottery you see for sale on-line, this beautiful pinched spout pitcher is about 7.5” tall and 5.5” diameter. Signed Cruz, the artist spent a great deal of time hand painting the design in great detail. Will hold about a quart of liquid. In excellent condition except for a chip and a superficial crack on the bottom. The crack seems to be from the unglazed surface perhaps becoming too dry during the firing process. A careful inspection of the inside shows no cracks. Weighs almost 2 lbs.
