Vintage Crouse-Hinds Taxiway / Runway Light with Blue Fresnel Lens -Refurbished

Description: Hello and thanks for checking out my listings! This listing is for: One Vintage Airport Runway / Taxiway Light with Vintage Blue Fresnel Prism Glass Globe The fresnel lens, along with the body,are made by Crouse Hinds. Units have been media blasted and professionally powder coated.(Please see last pics.) Globe may have minor chipping on edges of ridges. All original wiring has been removed, then unit was rewired with all new components. SPT-2 Cordset (Heavier Insulation), with polarized plug. Cord is approx 6' in length. Socket is a UL Listed ceramic candelabra unit. Bulb is a LED 5.5W unit. Bulb design gives a nice even glow in the blue globe. Bulb is very cool, I leave the one in my "man cave" on constantly, and glass is barely warm to the touch, so no worry about young ones getting burned by hot light. Only change to the original outside appearance is the Stainless Steel acorn nuts used on the bottom plate to "fill" the mount holes and give the light "feet" to stand stable. Note: The Carriage bolt "feet" are NOT stainless. Light is approx 22" tall and the base plate is 12" in diameter. Please note light will be disassembled for shipping, as shown in pics. To reassemble, pull excess cord thru base plate until upright post can be inserted into base, tighten bolt with wrench or pliers. Install light bulb, align tabs on globe, turn slightlyand tighten set screw to hold on place. Please Note: There is no seal included and the cord is rated indoor only, so please DO NOT expose to outdoor sittings.
