Description: Vintage Brooks Leather Road Bike or Tour Bicycle Saddle / Seat or Clamp ( Your Choice from The Menu ) Model - Length x Width mm - Year or Special Notes This Auction is for a Used Vintage Patina Brooks Leather Road bike, MTB, or Touring Bicycle Seat / Saddle or Clamp with your choice from the Menu. Your Menu Choice will have the: Model - Length x Width in millimeters the approximate Length (Nose to Tail ) and Width side to side at it's widest point in millimeters - Year if applicable or any Special Notes. Models with Approximate size in millimeters include: B17 = 275x175 - PRO / Professional (AKA Team Pro) = 272x160 - B15 and Swallow = 285x162 - Swift = 272x150 - Colt = 255x160 - B66, B67, & B72 = 260x210 - & Others. Some Models can date back to Prewar and possibly as far as "TOC" Turn of the Century, Unfortunately only a few have dates and one must rely on visual reference. The Professional, Swallow, & Swift are skinny saddles geared toward racing. The B17 is a Classic Standard all-rounder used on Road, Tour, & Mountain Bikes. The B66, B67, B72 are wider seats commonly use on Vintage English Raleigh 3 Speed Touring Bikes and suitable for Cruisers. Since there are many versions of a particular model menu choice will show the measurements so you can determine if it's right for you. Seats can be Male, Unisex, or S / Short that are usually for Smaller Riders and Females. Can be a Wide or Skinny or Short or Long version, Seat may be a Special or Limited version and that is not always marked on the saddle. Soft is a Type of Softer Leather and Specials tend to have large hand hammered rivets. Seat marked Ti will have Titanium Rails. Your Purchasing One Seat or Clamp of your Choice from the Menu. The Seat is used, may show wear, may have scratches, blemishes, rips, cracks, wrinkles, road rash, logo loss, steel parts may have rust, seat was just wiped down, and could use some cleaning & detailing. Seat has Patina, It May or May NOT be ridable, check photos for cracking around rivets as some may be for show and some good to go. A Clamp is an add on Option for the Vintage old style 7/8" top Seatposts. Clamp choice options are: Used OG Brooks Clamp, New Silver RRC Clamp, or NOS Black RRCR Clamp. The NOS RRCR Clamps are older import clamps and can have dust & scratches from age & shelf life. Your Selection will show your Choice for Visual Inspection, Specifics are in the Menu.
