Description: Briggs and Stratton side post twin 18-2 with cast iron bore. Oil injected. Bought it working, was running a 295A welder on a farm. When I knew I was not going to get to it, I filled the cylinder bores with 10w30. Spun the post once a week. Was stored off the ground in a dry garage. The good: Already a side post set up.(Moves freely) Has compression Reads DC volts when manually spun Cleaned air intake and exhaust with high pressure air vacuum No major leaks(small oil leak at plug needs a nylon seal. Comes with all shrouds. Bolt down points are intact. The bad: It has been sitting for about a year. I bought it running. Started to replace all hardware with stainless hardware. Never finished. Have the hardware if you want/need it. The old stuff was garbage. Busted volt on exhaust mount (came to me like that) Theres some pretty ugly rot on one side of the heat sinks that doesn't really affect performance or go all the way through. Plugs aren't great, needs a wire too. Carb is functional, but needs a clean. The ugly: Its old, has rust, needs paint.
