This cheerful painting is nearly 13” x 13”. “Ajasi Alama was born in Marondera in 1972, and now lives and works in Mukute. She is a second-generation member of the Weya group. She joined the group in the early 90s, after attending an artistic dressmaking course held by the German Ilse Noy at the Makute Farm Society, in collaboration with Agnes Shapeta, teacher and trainer at the same course. She has taken part in all the group exhibitions organized by the Weya community in Zimbabwe.
