Description: Measurements: Pit to pit: 21.5 Sleeves: 8Total Length: 26.5Shoulders: 18.5 OK so here's an ultra rare older vintage find! This is a very rare original post WWII era late 1940's plain navy blue pocket t-shirt by Munsingwear, in fact I checked the patent number on the label and it dates specifically to 1949. The patent description with the US patent office info says it's for "Collarette Fabric", and when you read the details on that Munsingwear put a patent out on knit/ribbed collars and cuffs like you see on lots of tees from this point in history forward, such as ringer tees you think of from the 70's and 80's. But apparently that all started right here with Munsingwear getting the patent for it and this tee represents exactly that! Also just beautiful original label period. Really crude looking single stitching in the sleeves and waistline, also on the front pocket, which has a dramatically rounded bottom. The shirt is waaaay thicker than you'd think, not a sweatshirt with fleece but really thick, soft, and stretchy all cotton. MINTY fresh shape, no issues!
