Description: This flapper dress is absolutely delightful!Featuring a dropped waist, back drape, and gentlyflared skirt, this evening gown is a tea rose pink color (hue is seen most accurately in photo #17). Made of sheer lace with a tiered skirt, this has a handkerchief hem that hovers just above the ankle. All materials are 100% silk! With a column silhouette that extends below the knee, the tulle skirt flares into a graceful trumpet shape. High quality materials and superior tailoring make this dress stand out from the crowd. An authentic vintage gown circa early 1930’s, this dress is stunning! This gown also has an attached silk satin slip. In very good condition, there are a few minor spots and a pit stain under the right armpit. There are also a few tears at the hem. The seams have opened at the edges in places, especially under the arm, but these are easily fixed by an experienced dressmaker. I have not attempted any restoration or cleaning of this dress due to the delicate nature of the fabric. Purchased from an estate that included several high quality dresses, petticoats, nightgowns etc, these were stored well and were obviously cherished items. It has no labels, andI believe this was skillfully custom sewn. It matches well withthe silk fringed shawl listed separately, so do shop the rest ofmy store. I have sold many dresses in my career, but this is one of the finest I have ever seen. The materials, the design, the condition and the attention to detail are simply astonishing!
