Description: This listing is a Vintage 1972 - 1973 New York Raiders WHA Hockey Team Pin Pinback Button.This button measures 3.5 inches in diameter and it is in nice condition. This button is interesting in that it has a Raiders decal applied to another team's button.This button was found in a large group of these buttons that all were created this way. I believe the button manafacturer was recycling previously made buttons that were still in their inventory, to make these buttons.The button under the Raiders decal is a 1969 Detroit Pistons button (based on close studying) - there were also buttons in which Flyers and Rangers buttons were recycled in this fashion.Payment is due with 48 hours of the auction ending.
