Description: .......The highest bidder in this auction will receive a single 7"x9", b&w, glossy photo depicting the series' stars, well-known actors, Robert Reed and E.G. Marshall (as son & father attorneys respectively) along with guest star Dennis Hopper, on the set of THE DEFENDERS announcing the upcoming Saturday night broadcast way back a half-century ago in 1962. This photo was one of several recycled, when a neighborhood newsman discarded it a few years later (grabbed it from a pile of newspapers left by the curb, on the way home from school, and preserved it for almost five decades). ...You may recall that very few folks had color tvs at the time, so the b&w photo is completely reminiscent of the image in our memory. What a memorable year - especially for tv fans!! .......This photo is in GOOD or better condition (with a little damage to two of the four corners). You'll find the photo to be pretty sharp otherwise (b&w), while the back is in nice condition. There is however, a sizeable yellow/brown stain on the back near the bottom from the glue with which the info sheet (included) was previously attached. What a nice collectible - especially for courtroom drama and fans of the late Dennis Hopper!! ........Feel free to inquire before bidding if more info is required (or if you'd like a scanned image showing a little more detail).
