For your consideration is a Mamod TE1a Live Steam Tractor made in England in the mid 1960s, probably 1965/1966.This item was around for 60+ years without a whole lot of changes. Sometimes though, an older gasket might have dried up, needing replacement. Let's hope it's not the case. It is complete, including the original box that is in very poor condition.I folded the box to prevent further damage. The directions are still readable if the box is rather wobbly.The tractor is all original. As you can expect, there are a few paint blemishes and minor scratches, but it still is quite good looking and operational.The early canopy attachment is quite wobbly and you might prefer to keep it on for static display. The tractor can run without the canopy. This Live Steam Tractor is of the second generation of the Tractors produced by Mamod. The second generation is the first equipped with reversing flow of steam. It still has the early model whistle, canopy attachment, water level plug and spirit lamp. You will need some denatured alcohol (any drugstore - 91% recommended) and using solely distilled water is very highly recommended. Please select the shipping system that suits you best.
