Vintage 1960's Rain Gutter Mount Ski Surf Roof Rack Bus Van Wagon Quik-n-easy?

Description: Fresh out of the barn, here are some all original 1960's surf/ski roof racks. These are rain gutter mounted racks, and will therefore fit vehicles with rain gutters on the roof. Still has its original royal blue paint, and has rubber tops on the cross rails which I have never seen before. There are no manufacturer's marks anywhere on the racks. Construction is slightly different than the Quik n Easy brand you see the most, so I believe this to be a different manufacturer. Same function though (just even more beautiful, colorful, and functional with the rubber treads!) Universal fit for any/all rain gutter equipped vehicles up to a 61" width from gutter to gutter. The Crossrails are 56'' in length, but the mounts are designed to allow for a 61'' gutter width installation. Therefore they don't protrude into oncoming traffic. Purchased a few old 60's tanaka pintail surfboards from a gentlemen who was the original owner and used these racks on his 60's car (I forget which one he drove!) to drive down to surf the NJ shore. He included these racks in the deal, and I do not have a use for them. I took them because someone on here would definitely bring some new life to them and enjoy them! Some surface rust on the pieces. The tightening screws/nuts are rusted and should either be replaced (inexpensively with bolts/nuts from the hardware store or your shed/garage) or could try some de-rust/lubricant or whatever you use to unlock rusted bolts. I tried to unscrew one without any chemicals and there was a little give, so not a total loss if you want to keep all original. Includes the original rubber topped cross-rails. I have never seen an example like this. I gave them a good cleaning and they could use another (and another lol). Please review all images. FREE SHIPPING
