Description: 1953 Vintage Gillott 24.5" Taper Tube Spear Point Lug Reynolds 531 Steel Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage 24.5" / 62cm Restored A.S. Gillott Taper tube Road Bike Frame Set from 1953. This a Big Boy Special, a Gillott Specifically Built with Tapered Tubes and Construction for Larger Riders. Frame set has Set A.S. Gillott Spear Point Lugs, Tapered Tubes, 5 speed mount, Agrati dropouts, and a Nice restoration job. 24.5" Frame, Actual Size: Seat tube 60.5cm Center to Center or 62cm Center to Top with a 60cm center to center top tube, with a 172mm head tube. Frame and Fork are Reynolds 531 Steel Tubes with rear Agrati dropouts and cool pointed fork dropouts. The 1" Threaded Fork with RJR Crown has 98mm Spacing and the Frame has 120mm Rear Spacing. Frame & Fork ++ is British / ISO Standard. Frame set is Used, it is a repaint, It's Nice Looking, Looks like it was built at one point, Minimal nicks, scratches, & blemishes.
