Description: Selling a 1940s Vintage cotton day dress with a super cute matching bolero. The dress is a beautiful blue, yellow, red and white plaid print cotton with wide pleated straps - perfect for concealing bra straps! The dress is unlined, and judging by the construction and lack of manufacturers tag, most likely a homemade set. The fabric is lightweight and breathable - perfect for a hot summer day! The fabric is in excellent condition with no significant staining or fading.There are a few very minor damages, which are all easy repairs (all flaws are shown in the photos). The threading of one of the straps is coming undone from where it is sewn to the dress in the back. The back of the dress, which fastens up with buttons, is missing one of the buttons. There is a very small tear (less than 1") in the center bust of the dress. There is also a small repair that has been made on the back left sleeve of the bolero.
