Description: Cover contract number indicates Mid 1965. Super rough condition hard used Vietnam war era M1 helmet with some Graffiti on helmet band. Chin straps are worn very hard with one of the hooks missing. Ripped piece that connects to the liner snap. Appears to have period tape placed on the nape strap. Ripped up A harness. Internal supports seem shortened to fit a small head. Not the prettiest M1. But it does convey a nice look of being used and has history to it. Unfortunately not named or attributed but probably used stateside for training. Has a cool look to it. Please ask any questions. Thank you
