Description: V27P KEY BLANK FOR:Karman Ghia, Type 3 Fastback, Squareback 1968-1970Volkswagen Beetle/Super Beetle 1967-1970 PROFILE: "K" CODE SERIES 11K001 - 72K110This is the upgraded plastic-headed version of the V27 key. This key works as a replacement for keys with the part number V27, HF19, V78JK, or VO4R. If your keys have one of these part numbers on them, you have the right key. If not, compare the grooves of your key vs. the pictures closely as they must match exactly. Another clue is if you have a KEY CODE manually stamped on your key, in this case "K" surrounded some numbers. See pic #3 for an example of an original lock set with a "K" code stamped on it. Check carefully as manufacturers were less careful about using the same key profile type consistently back in the day and locks can get changed over the years. This key was also made with a offset round shaped head, and was then known as a VW67 key. They are interchangeable! Please note I have a few different types of this same key made by different manufacturers, the key you receive may not match the picture.IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: VW used a few different similar (but reverse) ignition keys during this time span.
