USS Iowa, the lead vessel in her WW II Iowa Class of battleships, she served in WW II, Korea and in President Reagan's 600 ship fleet, (1984-1990). She spent ten years in reserve in the Suisun Reserve Fleet in Benicia, CA. A veterans group, Pacific Battleship Center, has obtained use the USS Iowa as a museum ship in San Pedro Harbor.
