His trade list back then would have by itself, made any AF patch collector envious! I was overwhelmed by an excess bedroom completely filled with box after box of patches - most in stacks tied together with rubber bans and string, of countless PACAF and other AF units. The visit was amazing. This unit is one I picked up that day, the 602nd SPECIAL OPERATIONS SQUADRON out of Nan Kong Phenom, Thailand, had been hand-machine embroidered and made at a NKP Tailor/Wash Shop - which we in Southeast Asia normally called "Cheap-Charlies" at the time.
