Description: Up for sale is a very unusual antique French quarter repeater movement that has a Virgule escapement and a dead beat second hand. It is 53mm in diameter. The movement is in rough shape, but it is fairly rare and worthy of restoration. The staff pivots are broken, and the hands and hour wheel are missing. I don't know what else is missing or broken, but these are the obvious flaws. The white porcelain dial is in poor condition. There are no gongs or bell. They must have been part of the case. The lid on the dust cover releases by pushing a pin through a small hole at the edge. I am selling this movement AS-IS. Please view the photos and ask questions as needed.
