Tudor Submariner 76100 from 1984 (blue rare)

Description: Welcome to the sale of this incredible neo vintage Tudor submariner ref-76100. This was produced for a limited period in the mid 1980’s the same time that Rolex transitioned its submariner 16800. This early version can be identified via its T Swiss T dial markings and the later versions had a separate dash between the T -Swiss-T. The obvious and rarest thing about this submariner is its fantastic blue dial with ghosted blue bezel. For everyone of these blues I see dozens of black ones which really does make it a horological talking point. As can be seen from the high resolution pictures it’s in incredible condition and comes with its folded link bracelet also dated 84’ (they all came with these) however I have sourced at great expense the Tudor 78500 NOS bracelet which IS UNWORN and does not detract from overall look in fact imo it enhances it and gives the owner the confidence to wear it without the fragility and worry of the original folded bracelet. (This was used in the last of the Tudor submariners in mid-late 90’s and is solid quality and from Tudor themselves) Both bracelets will come with the watch. There is a minute bit of a flaw in the outer dial near 10 o clock outer edge that is impossible to see without a loupe but enhances the originality of the otherwise impeccable blue dial. Bought from a very well known (and famous) antiques dealer so again you can buy with complete confidence. This is a wonderful example and keeping excellent time with recent service and gasket change. However I would not recommend wearing any vintage watch in the sea, pool, shower etc. A real collectors watch with impeccable sharpness. So if this model has always been on your radar and you really want one of the best examples available today then get in touch.
