Tip Top Weekly #333 Aug 30, 1902 Dick Merriwell, Prize Photos 32 & 33, Baseball

Description: Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Magazine: "Tip Top Weekly No. 333, August 30 1902 , "Dick Merriwell's New Ball; Or, The Boy Wonder At His Best", Prize Photos No. 32 "Picking Up A Hot One" entered by Hanford Miller of Plainfield, N.J. and No. 33 "Coming Down The Line" entered by William H. Littleton, Wellsburg, W. Va., on the inside of the back cover, approx. 10 7/8" X 8 3/8", Published by Street & Smith, New York. Issued weekly. In over-all very good condition, the spine detached and has some brittleness and minor chipping along the center of the right edge of the cover, internal oxidation - VERY THIN paper. Came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally. MANY of these early one have issues with the left side corners. I really believed they were clipped back in the day - maybe remainder stock?? Strange that the same exact corners on each one seem clipped.
