Description: G+ - VG- / facsimile dust jacket. 1927 Grosset & Dunlap (first G&D print?), using the Dodd, Mead 8th printing plates. Hardcover with facsimile jacket. I have found this pre-war (late ‘20’s - early ‘30’s) Grosset version to be harder to find than any other edition of this title (maybe with the exception of he UK 1st edition). This is not a County Fair - prize winning copy, but its problems are mainly cosmetic and the bright new facsimile jacket shields it from the light for the most part.
