A First American Book Club Edition, (BCE).Please remember this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title! This is a BCE, essentially an early reprint.The First Printing of the First Book Club Edition. One last time, this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing. This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear/age, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition!The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris. The binding feels shaky/loose but is still holding tight.All of the pages are present, fully attached and still surprisingly crisp and clean. Some general/shelf wear along with a previous owner blind stamp, creases/scuffing/rips/wear to the spine/corners/boards and creases/marks/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text!Please note the wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges and on the spine, and the wear that is present on the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages.As previously mentioned, there is some wear to the binding!The binding/book feels shaky/loose and there is some very noticeable space/separation clearly visible along the top edge of the spine.The previous owner blind stamp is located on the second, blank page.The blind stamp, (for those unfamiliar with the term), is a circular indentation that can be both seen and felt on both sides of the page.While the blind stamp contains no ink, it still has writing and that writing is very clearly visible on both sides of the page.The blind stamp, both sides of the page, have been closely photographed for your consideration.All of the wear previously mentioned is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original dust jacket is fully intact with its' stunning front cover illustration on full display!The dust jacket has been encased in a removable, museum quality Brodart dust jacket protector!A "Signed" sticker has been attached to the spine.The sticker was put on by a previous owner and, thankfully, is attached to the dust jacket protector, NOT to the jacket! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, rips and marks.Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges!In particular, please note the large crease on the spine!The wear, particularly near/along the edges and on the spine, is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.
