Description: Radio shows were first syndicated on reel to reel tape, later on LP stereo discs, then CD's and now digitally. Collectors can no longer get their hands on this quality material so the surviving shows that are available will keep going up in value. These radio shows were never intended for public use & most were destroyed or returned to the manufacturer after use, so they're very difficult to find. David William Sanborn was best known as a Saxophonist who played all genres of music including Rock, R & B, Pop, Blues, Instrumental and of course, Jazz. As a session musician, Sanborn played with all time greats including David Bowie (Young Americans), James Taylor (How Sweet It Is), Stevie Wonder, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John & The Rolling Stones - to name just a few. He released 25 albums and won six Grammy awards. During the late 1980's & 1990's, Sanborn hosted multiple Nationally Syndicated Radio shows - first "The Jazz Show with David Sanborn" on NBC Radio and later "The David Sanborn Show" on Media America. This auction features an original episode of "The David Sanborn Show" from the weekend of April 24 - 26, 1992 and includes a copy of the two page cue sheet. Please see pictures of the cue sheet for detailed track listing and timeline. In addition to the Original Transcription Discs, this auction includes the cue sheet. Often, these cue sheets are harder to find then the actual shows themselves. I have at least 15 additional episodes available for sale - most are complete with cue sheets.
