Very finely painted with exceptionally good facial detail of the figure and his clothing, Titled and signed (partially indistinctly) lower left, '??????? Hemsley'. The image dimensions are approximately: 11 1/2'''' x 13 3/4'' (29cm x 35cm). In excellent condition, housed in a superb gilt moulded period frame, ready to hang. Provenance: In my own collection, formerly with a gentleman's private collection in Sussex.
