Hardcover with its original, price-clipped dust jacket.Published by Harper & Row: New York, 1976. First American Edition/Second Printing with the number line ending with "2". Please remember this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing!Please also remember this is the AMERICAN Edition! This title was first published in Spain in 1975. Some would classify this copy as being a First Edition Thus, a First Edition/Later Printing, a First Edition/Early Printing and so on.Sadly, we have even seen some sellers advertising their copies as a First Edition/First Printing when they are clearly NOT a True First/First.We have chosen to go with the most specific classification possible which is why we simply refer to this copy as a First American Edition/Second Printing. The Second Printing of the First American Edition. Once again, this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title. This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition!The wear, however, is considerable and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and other than a previous owner gift inscription and some partially erased pencil marks, has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean!Some general/shelf wear along with creases/marks/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/discoloration/marks/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text!Please note the wear that is present on the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages.The wear is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. As mentioned before, there is some internal writing!There is a previous owner gift inscription, written in pen and located on the back of the first, blank page.There is also some partially erased pencil marks on the first blank page.The writing/pages have been closely photographed for your consideration. The original dust jacket is price-clipped, otherwise fully intact but has extensive wear!Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, marks and numerous large rips.There is also quite a few pieces of clear tape attached to the inside of the dust jacket!Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges!Please also note the large rips and considerable wear on the back of the dust jacket!The wear, particularly near/along the edges and on the back of the dust jacket, is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.
