Description: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The Complete Second Season Product Details Product Description Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete Second Season (DVD) Amazon.ca Things blow up. Someone you think is a human turns out to be a shape-shifting Terminator. There are confusing forays through time and discussions about what happened when in which version of the past and/or future. But really, the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles--unfortunately the final season of the series--is about family, connections, and the things we do to protect the ones we love. Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) has an especially rough road, nearly dying and becoming obsessed with a three-dot symbol and detours through a world of UFO obsessives. John Connor (Thomas Dekker), a.k.a. the guy who will grow up to lead humanity's resistance to the hated machines, gets tough and gets a girlfriend. His uncle Derek (Brian Austin Green) gets a girl as well, and the women in their lives turn out to have a surprising connection. Cameron (Summer Glau), the Terminator sent to protect John, suffers some damage and reveals some surprisingly human secrets of her own as her relationship with John gets more emotional and complicated. Shirley Manson (lead singer of Garbage) joins the cast as Catherine Weaver, an icy executive with… well, suffice it to say that a familiar (and threatening) face shows up in her company. The special features are extensive and include featurettes on the writing, effects, stunts, music and more. This is a fitting sendoff for an ambitious show. --Stephanie Reid-Simons P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Special Features - The Continuing Chronicles featurettes - Write the Future – A look inside the writing process of continuing the exciting Season 1 storyline while bringing all new elements and dangers into this season’s story arc. - The Science behind the Series – Visual Effects supervisor James Lima discuss the process of working with the producers to bring the sci-fi world of Sarah Connor to life. - Blood and Metal– Go behind the scenes at Almost Human Inc. to follow the process of creating realistic lacerations for cybernetic organisms. - Designing Destruction – Production Designers Michael Novotny and Marek Dobrowolski discuss the challenges of combining real world locations with futuristic sets - Choreographing Chaos – See how Stunt Coordinator and 2nd Unit Director Joel Kramer and Special Effects Supervisor Steve Galich work closely to create the stunts and on set effects. - Motivations –The cast discuss their process for approaching and preparing to play their characters. - War Stories – From an unexpected earthquake on the jam-packed Santa Monica pier to the intricacies of filming underwater sequences, moments from the set provide the background to some of this season’s most exciting moments. - Setting the Tempo– Composer Bear McCreary discusses his goals in composing for the series - Deleted Scenes - Cameron vs. Rosie: Fight Rehearsal - The Storyboard Process - The production team outlines the process for mapping key sequences from the show in Storyboard format. - Audio Commentary - Gag Reel- The Continuing Chronicles featurettes - Write the Future – A look inside the writing process of continuing the exciting Season 1 storyline while bringing all new elements and dangers into this season’s story arc. - Wa See more width: 0 x height: 0 x length: 0 x weight: 0 Payment Details We accept payments through PayPal, contact us to check the availability of other payment methods Shipping Details Thank you for visiting and shopping at Retro Canada.
