Description: This item is a Tenshodo Brass HO Gauge 1:87 Scale GN Great Northern Glacier Park Class F8 2-8-0 Steam Locomotive, 158, in the original box with paperwork. Engine was made in Japan in 1968, carries cab number 1246, has a factory paint job, and is standard analog DC operation. Item has been run, but shows no damage or signs of use other than minor wheel wear. In short, back and forth test run, engine ran flawlessly - very responsive and quiet. A quick internet search states that a duplicate of this engine has a headlight, but I believe this one just has a clear jewel, and not an actual bulb on the front. I am not an aficionado, so if you have any questions, please ask. Engine has sat in its box for some time, so could use a thorough detail and lube job. Engine has knuckle couplers.
