There is a live arrival guarantee. If a snail is dead, its trap door will be open, and you should see it hanging out of the shell. It's normal for snails to close up and stay inside during the day. Live arrival is guaranteed without an ice/heatpack ONLY if your temperature is between 51-89. You must buy the ice pack add on if the temperature is 90 or above, this will cover 90-100 degree heat only. You must buy the heat pack add on if the temperature is 50 or below, this will cover 30-50 degree weather only. In case of deaths you must report them within an hour of arrival.
