Description: Summer of the Monkeys, Wilson Rawls 1976 SIGNED This is Rawls' second book, his first being the immensely popular Where the Red Fern Grows. The author has signed the end paper inside the front cover and dated it 4-14-78. The copyright page does not indicate which edition or printing, but it does NOT say "first edition" like some other versions, and the signed date is 2 years after some other versions, so I assume this is not a first edition. Book is in in Good+ condition with little wear and little shelf wear, faint stain to right of author's signature on end paper and the top and bottom edges of the covers are darkened from dust soiling or sun. Otherwise, covers and pages are square, clean, bright, and unmarked except for author's signature and date. Binding is tight. Dust jacket is in Good condition with some wear, some discolorations on front, spine is darker than front and rear, and there is a small 1/4" tear at the bottom front flap hinge. Dust jacket is not price clipped. Please see pictures as they are considered part of the condition description. I take numerous photos of the actual item and describe it as accurately as I can so you don't have to risk your buying decision on stock photos and generic condition descriptions. A portion of this sale goes to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Northwest North Carolina in honor of my father-in-law who was a director of a food bank. Many people experience hunger on a regular basis and they rely on food banks. The destruction caused by Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina has made their situation worse. Thank you for supporting them with your purchase. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: If you are unhappy with any aspect of this transaction, please contact me immediately. I will work hard to keep buyers happy and to resolve the rare problem promptly. QUALITY PACKAGING: I care about your purchase! I package books and DVDs protected in plastic sleeves for water protection and wrapped carefully for safe and secure shipping. There are cheaper, easier, and faster ways to package items for shipping but the risk of damage during shipment is not worth it for you or me. I?m proud of the positive feedback I have received related to packaging. USPS MEDIA MAIL: I ship books and DVDs by USPS media mail. Media mail is generally reasonably fast, but can rarely take up to 8 days, so please be patient. Shipping outside of the U.S. is handled by the eBay Global Shipping program. I ship to the eBay international shipping clearing house in Kentucky and eBay takes it from there. eBay adds on the extra cost for international shipping and I have no control over that cost or how long it takes. eBay should give you a shipping estimate/total on the listing page for your particular order. POSITIVE FEEDBACK: If you believe you would be happy to purchase something from me again in the future, please consider leaving me positive feedback for this purchase as it really helps small eBay sellers like me. I leave feedback for buyers once they have posted feedback for me. Let's do this together! Enjoy!
