SOG during the 1980s was(is) part of SAD(Special Activities Division 1957-2016) and Is now part of SAC (Special Activities Center) SOG is the Paramilitary wing of the Central Intelligence Agency and recruits from within as well as other Tier 1 Operation Units such CAG/DELTA as well as DEVGRU/Seal Team Six Squadrons.
