The M1881 helmet has the dark felt outer covering, with a Army Eagle Artillery Plate and Artillery side buttons. It has the Artillery Red Horse Hair Plume assembly and the Artillery Red Braided Cords. Some wear on the outer felt covering, see photos. No dents in the fiber shell. The interior still has leather sweat band. There are no manufacturer markings. It has a size 7 tag. Please see photos for condition.
